Nevertheless, UWT also cares about achieving a positive impact with other organizations and in the community. To do this , we conduct research and needs assessments in order to make the distribution more efficient and effective . UWT supports a network of 647 social service agencies and their programs, which are evaluated every year. |
United Way Taiwan (UWT), a member of the global United Way system, is the largest non-profit organization of the kind in Taiwan , having raised more than NT $32million (9.6million in USD) in 2006, which supported 519 programs around the countr y. With only 20 full¡Vtime staff, the efficiency and the great fundraising achievement of UWT are renowned within the global United Way system.
